Max Weishaupt GmbH, one of the world's leading heating equipment manufacturers, has had a branch office in Neuss since 1965. Around 50 employees are responsible for marketing, sales, order processing, technical support, and customer service.

The branch office's operational area encompasses the entire left bank of the lower Rhine, from Cleves in the north to Selfkant in the south.
On the right bank, the office serves the cities of Düsseldorf, Wuppertal, Solingen, and Remscheid and all of the nearby surrounding areas.

A considerable expansion of the Weishaupt product range and the good commercial growth of the Neuss office meant that a new building that would be able to meet these growing demands was now necessary. The branch's new building was constructed in the northern suburbs of Neuss, right next to the A52 motorway near Büderich. The grand opening of the new building took place at the end of June with more than 200 guests from the Weishaupt organisation and their clientelle.

The generously proportioned new building has a 900-square metre warehouse that ensures customers can be supplied quickly and a 1200-square metre office wing. The latter includes a 250-square metre training centre for the theoretical and practical training of skilled tradespeople and service technicians. The practical training facilities are fully equipped with working products, which include free-standing and wall-hung gas and oil-fired condensing boilers from 2 to 45 kW, ground-to-water heat pumps and air-to-water heat pumps between 7 and 11 kW, thermal stores and combi-cylinders, as well as three 70 to 600 kW test-firing chambers for burner training.

The new building is heated and cooled by a reversible 70 kW brine-to-water heat pump and a 90 kW gas-fired condensing boiler. All of the building's systems are regulated and controlled by a building management system from Weishaupt's subsidiary, Neuberger. BauGrund Süd, also part of the Weishaupt Group, undertook the surveying and subsoil analysis of the site and drilled the holes for the geothermal probes.

With its new branch office building in Neuss, Weishaupt is again demonstrating intensive development of its customer focus, its customer training provision, and its technical marketing competence.

Weishaupt's new branch offices in Hamburg, Dortmund, Frankfurt, and Berlin are similarly fully equipped.
