Weishaupt water-to-water heat pumps draw their heat from groundwater, which is the most effective heat source for heat pumps. A well system has to be drilled in order to tap into this source of heat.

Weishaupt water-to-water heat pumps draw heat from groundwater. This is the most effective source of heat for heat pumps.

A well has to be drilled in order to tap into the heat source. The groundwater, whcih is always at a constant temperature, is pumped up in order to transfer its heat to the heat pump before being returned underground via a second well (the so-called return well). The heat pump pumps the recovered heat to the required temperature and heats the house.

Outstanding energy yield: For every kilowatt of electrical energy consumed a Weishaupt water-to-water heat pump recovers up to 5.5 kW of heat energy, putting it amongst the most efficient units on the market.

For any application: Weishaupt brine-to-water heat pumps are available in capacities ranging from 9 to 100 kW. High-temperature versions with flow temperatures up to 75 °C are available for the replacement of existing heating boilers or the renovation of older buildings without flat-panel radiators.

Extremely quiet: Weishaupt heat pumps are amongst the quietest available, thanks to their extensive vibration damping, completely sound-attenuated iinternal housing, and high-power compressor with no mechanically actuated valves.

For cooling too: Weishaupt's water-to-water heat pumps can be used for cooling as well as heating. "Passive cooling"in summer takes advantage of the constantly lower groundwater temperature to pass "cool" heating water through the system.

One-stop solution: All the accessories, from the Class-A-Efficiency pumps to the room thermostats, are designed to work together perfectly. Weishaupt also takes care of the well drilling and the connection to the heat pump system.

Easy-to-operate: The integrated controller with clear text display makes it easy to set the system in a few steps.

Complete heat supply: The heat pumps can also be used for domestic hot water. The Weishaupt Combi Store (WKS) is a particularly elegant solution, combining cylinder, buffer tank, and all the connections between the heat pump, heating circuit, and DHW circuit within a single, compact housing

Long service life: High-quality materials, robust constructions, and tried-and-tested technology guarantee many years of reliable service. Thanks to their robustness, Weishaupt's water-to-water heat pumps are suitable for use with almost all qualities of water. A groundwater analysis is required in advance for heat ratings above 27 kW.

DHW cylinders

Weishaupt Combi Store: WKS

The Combi Store brings together within a single compact housing all of the components needed to integrate heat pumps with a heating system, thereby considerably reducing the amount of installation work required. It contains a 300-litre DHW cylinder, a 100-litre buffer tank, hydraulic components, circulation pumps, and electrical auxiliary heating. The Combi Store is designed for use with a large number of the Weishaupt heat pumps.

Weishaupt thermal store: WES-A 660/910, version C

Weishaupt thermal stores organise and distribute the heat produced by different energy sources (gas or oil-fired condensing boilers, heat pumps, solar collectors, solid-fuel boilers, or stoves) with an exemplary degree of efficiency. Inlet dampers ensure that the ideal temperature stratification is always maintained within the thermal store. Energy is also drawn off in an economical manner, with solar energy having priority over any other source.

WES 660 A-C

Weishaupt thermal store: WES 200-500 and WES 660/910, versions S and H

A simplified version of the thermal store for heat pumps without solar heating support. It has connections to the heating system (heating unit or heat pump) and additionally to a solid-fuel boiler, fireplace, or stove.

Version S additionally offers solar DHW heating.

Weishaupt thermal store: WES 100 - 140
This thermal store is designed as an under-set unit and serves as a buffer tank for heat pump systems, evenly releasing heat to a building's heat distribution system.

Weishaupt Aqua Comfort: WAC 300 - 500

A classical water cylinder with a generously dimensioned heating coil for maximum DHW convenience. The large cylinder volume facilitates comfortable hot water temperatures and helps to save energy.
