Weishaupt is one of the pioneers of combustion equipment.
In 1932 Max Weishaupt founded his company in a workshop in Schwendi, Germany, production of oil burners beginning in 1952. Today, Weishaupt is a globally active company with more than 2,800 employees. Research and production are still carried out in Schwendi. The workshop has since become an impressive plant of over 65,000 m² (700,000 sq ft) but remains a family concern, managed today by the founder´s son, Siegfried Weishaupt Dipl.-Ing.

Weishaupt UK Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Weishaupt Group, was established in 1972 to cover the important British and Irish markets. Its centrally located headquarters in the West Midlands boasts a large spare parts warehouse as well as theoretical and practical training facilities .
